ASFAP Privacy Policy

The American Society of the French Academic Palms (ASFAP) takes the privacy of its members very seriously.

ASFAP collects personal information such as name, address, phone, e-mail, profession/place of work, retirement status, rank (chevalier, officier, commandeur), date of “promotion,” etc. This information is submitted voluntarily to ASFAP In a variety of ways which include membership application or renewal forms, registration forms, order forms,etc. ASFAP does not collect personal information from users browsing its website.

ASFAP regularly communicates with its members via email. By supplying your email address you consent to receive communications from ASFAP in this manner. If you do not supply an email address, you acknowledge that you are aware you will not receive notices and announcements from the American Society of the French Academic Palms.

Photos/videos taken at ASFAP events or related to ASFAP activities may be used on the ASFAP website and/or in social media, emails, or print materials.  If you do not want photos/videos of you used by ASFAP, please email president@frenchacademicpalms.org.

 

Any other membership information is for internal use only and not released to another company or organization.

ASFAP does not retain credit card information provided by its members and customers. ASFAP does not have access to the credit card information of those who pay online.
